Question about -12v and -5v readings in Speedfan

Q: I have been having issues playing some games such as age of conan, and I thought that my power supply was a likely culprit. So I downloaded Speedfan and took a look at the readings. The temperatures are all good, but here are the voltages: Vcore1: 1.33V Vcore2: 1.18V 3.3V: 3.31 5V: 4.97V 12V: 12.22V ~~~~~~~~~~ -12V: -9.23V -5V: -0.73V ~~~~~~~~~~ 5V: 5.03V Vbat: 3.09V I don't know enough about the hardware to know if those seemingly low voltages on the -12V and -5V rails are bad or not, which is why I'm asking. And if so, what could be a cause and what could be a solution? Thanks!

A: No, nothing is really loaded on the -V rails. Your PSU looks fine. Speedfan says my PSU has a -12V reading of -3.4V. I'm not sure about the cause/solution to something I don't think is a problem :/. My PSU is a corsair VX550, and my computer barely makes it sweat, ever. What you should check is the amp ratings of the +12V rails, and compare them to the consumption of your components. Eg. an overclocked opteron 170 uses ~8A@12V when fully loaded. A 7900 GS will use 4A+ @12V. etc etc. You should be safe if the +12V rails have a combined rating of at least 25A or so.
