Q: I have a Dell Dimension 8200, Intel Pentium 4 2.00ghz. I already upgraded from 512mb RAM to 1gb RAM and it improved my CPU speed slightly. I don't really want to buy another whole computer, but I just want to improve this one. I know I can just get more RAM because I have more slots for it, but is it possible to get a better processor and just keep all my other computer components intact?
A: Your processor isn't great but it's not to good. What I would do is buy a 2gb stick of RAM which will give you 3GB which is good. For Processor it depends what your motherboard is compatible for. So you might be able to get a good processor for cheap o if you have a bad motherboard than you might have to pay a lot for a new processor. Best Regards and Luck.
