Q: which is beter? Intel Celeron M or Intel Pentium 4?
A: Pentium 4 is outdated and not energy efficient (runs HOT). The new Celeron M are fast Celerons that are based on Yonah core. The M4xx series only supports 32bit while M5xx series supports 64bit. The better Pentiums are the new ones based on Core2 technology; Pentium E2xxx series for desktops and T2xxx series for laptops. The fast Celeron M (1.86gHz - 2.13gHz) could easily beat the low clocked (1.5 - 1.6gHz) dual cores in many single threaded apps.
