Q: I turned on my computer and it immediately turned off, so I tried again thinking I didn't press the button hard enough...and it ran fine, except there was a red light beneath the disc tray (it's NOT flashing). My computer is about 6 or 7 years old. Any help please? Yeah well screw you Fedichini, and learn how to spell cause it's Fettucini, genius. But if it crashes will I lose everything?!
A: your best bet is to get it looked at as soon as possible one of my computers is a gate way and its started doing funky things like that but i never got a red light, and i did scans and stuff on it thinking a virus and nothin was coming up about a month later it wouldnt turn on at all, i could hear the fan but my computer wasnt turning on took it to a shop in my town and found out that my mother board had fried along with the power something or rather, but the power something started goin out and then took my mother board with it it woulda been over $400 to get it fixed but a friend of my boyfriends fixed it for free and a pretty good program to own is Fix It Utilities, we have it on our computers now and it will tell us when something in our system isnt runnin to good so we can take care of it before it crashes....my mom bought it Fix It wal-mart Good Luck
