Q: i have put 3 harddrives in my hd/compaq business desktop. the computer is a little over a year old. again, i have imminent harddrive failure. i have to F1 to boot. what is causing this to continue to happen. HP offers no solution but to send another harddrive. Please help. i am tired of replacing the harddrive
A: It is almost certainly nothing to do with your hard drive and everything to do with your hard drive controller. Happened to me once.
