Q: Soo, I heard its better to keep a computer on all the time, rather than turn it on/off daily. Is this true? Because...my computer has probably only been turned off about a dozen times a year, not including updates where I had to restart.
A: Yes it is fine either way, savings the pennies is nice, if you have a modern PC that sleeps through everything, it generally uses the same amount of draw as your TV waiting for you to click the remote to turn it on. There is much debate on this subject either way. Heat could have much more negative effect on your p.c., then turning it on and off if you live a warm environment.
