A: First, you would be stupid to send your pc to a shop to have it fixed for $100. You can easily do it yourself for less than $50. Just look up cpu coolers on WWW.NEWEGG.COM All you need to do is make sure that it is compatible with your socket. Also get some thermal grease cleaner and some artic silver "grease". Another thing you could try to do, is to use super glue to glue your fan back in place. After all, it doesn't look like your heat sink is loose, it just looks like your fan is loose. As for virus protection, go to www.download.com and search for AVAST free home eddition. As for memory, go to www.crucial.com
