Q: On the box it says minimum 350 watts 18 amps... I know the card sure does not take 350watts more like 40 or 50 watts so whats the deal will everything be alright? If the PSU upgrade is nessecary ill put in my old cooler master 430 watt psu. The stock 300 seems to be working fine.
A: an upgrade wouldn't hurt, but I doubt much will happen. The 8600gt has pretty much become low end and has the specs to match. Its not that demanding a card for a PSU.
