Q: I was downloading an itunes update. The computer made a clicking sound and went dark. Now i can't get it to start with the power button. Is there hope before looking to buy?
A: Could be your power supply if you see nothing on pressing the power button. Look for a replacment on ebay If your computer does 'something' it could be the motherboard. or your harddrive crashed. HD is worth replacing but forget the motherboard - cheaper to just replace it I lost a Powermac G4 last year - motherboard got fried. It did 7 years of labor though :) Good luck Paul
