A: honestly, this debate has been raging for 10 years. who is better AMD or Intel, when in actuality, they are both relatively the same under normal operating conditions. Intel is better at some things than AMD, and AMD is usually cheaper. I have always supported AMDs approach to low cost CPUs. Everyone has their favorites... But to directly answer your question, in general terms, GHZ determines the speed (along with memory bus size and speed, onboard cache size and several other ffactors). Either chip will make you happy.
