Q: i wanted to get the a computer, and the one im looking at comes with a AMD Phenom 9500 Quad-Core Processor. I was wondering if it is worse, the same, or better than Intel's quad core processor
A: rule of thumb, if you are NOT overclocking stick with AMD. its cheaper, just as good as Intel with out all the hype, and they run cooler... the phenom 9700 will beat any intel chip under an E6420 http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/processors/xvid-1-1-2,403.html
