Q: intel quad core...1.8ghz...4gb ram...600gm hard drive...i use the computer for extensive internet, videos, dvd, music, pictures, (all saved on a portable hard drive so that shouldnt affect it), downloading, word, ppt, etc...no gaming though
A: Perfect, and more then enough for what you use it for. also that 600GB is pretty big. But like you said you have a portable HD that you save files on. the 4GB RAM is very nice (although if you don't have a 64 bit system it will only use 3.5/4.0 RAM at once) Intel Quad is pricey, but one of the best.
