Q: Last night I had to reinstall my wire2wire modem b/c I could not access the internet. So I uninstalled/reinstalled it and it worked. Today I tried using my printer and it would not print, so I uninstalled it and I am trying to reinstall it and it keeps saying I have to be the administrator of the machine to run the program, but I am the administrator on this computer. The only other account I have is the guest account and I am not logged into that one. I have ran my computer virus checker and it doesn't detect a virus. What is wrong with my pc and how do I get it to install this software? It is a vista system with a hp officejet 6210xi all in one.
A: What operating system are you using? What's the make & model of the printer? You may be able to find help at the website of your operating system...or, perhaps, even at the printer-manufacturer's website. It seems I've come across that "error message" and it wasn't too hard to get around... Sorry I don't remember how I did it... I have been looking for the solution... Hope you have found it by now. : (
