Q: I want to buy a new proccesor(AMD Athlon64x2 5400 2.8 ghz or AMD PHENOM 8450 2.1GHZ 3core)Which one is better for gaming?
A: Primarily the X2 5400 should be faster as most games currently today DO NOT use dual cores at all. So actually even if you buy a triple core. And main problem is most games would actually just use only one of the three cores.
