Q: On my older computer, i can only go to my home page which is msn. Then i can go to a few select websites like google....No yahoo or youtube etc. If i try to go to yahoo it freezes. I did a virus/Spyware scan and there was like 130 trojan .....what ever that shit is. I removed everything, but i still have the same issue. Anything else I can do? The trojan said high alert.....It also said umm Trojan pop up something and like 130 infections
A: Your browser is corrupt. What happens is that the "spyware" program turned off one or more of the add-ons and/or plugins needed so Internet Explorer will need to be reinstalled. If you want to diagnose it yourself you can go to the following page on the Microsoft Support Site: \http://support.microsoft.com/gp/pc_ie_intro Once you've got things working again I recommend installing Windows Defender ( http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/defender/default.mspx ) and a free antivirus (I use Avast! Home Edition http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html ) in order to prevent it from happening again. Hope that helps!
