Q: they're around $2,000. i have a dell computer that i paid only $500 for, but i want something new. are macbooks really worth the money? or are you just paying for the brand, basically? are there any cool features that seperate it from other computers/laptops?
A: I think it's worth it, I bought mine myself last summer for college and I never regret spending the money. I will never buy a pc laptop. My mac runs as fast as the day I got it and it does all the work for me and is simple to use. I have had no viruses or problems. It comes with a wireless port so you don't have to buy anything. The one thing I would suggest if you choose to buy a mac (which I highly recommend) is not buying all the extra stuff the salespeople push on you except for the warranty. I bought the one to one session and didn't use it and the dot mac program and didn't use that either so watch out for all the extras they try to sell you.
