Q: If you are leaving your computer for an hour or two should you shutdown or does the computer use more power each time it restarts?
A: you should just go into power settings and shut off all hard disks after 30 minutes, it will basically put it into standby without even causing it to power up every time, thats what i do :) or just put it on standby...
