So many Macs, but what one?

Q: Ok here goes. I'm wanting to buy a Mac because it solves most of my video editing needs. But I'm having trouble choosing the best one for me. Also i'm having trouble choosing money-wise. First I started off by looking at the original "iMac" so after some research I thought I had made up my mind, a few weeks later I came across a Mac that is new to me and one I had never seen before. This was called the "Mac Pro" (not the notebook). Now i'm positive I want the "Mac Pro" P.S I want "Final Cut Studio" as well. Here's what I want - One 2.8GHZ Quad-Core Intel Xeon Processer - 4GB (4x1GB) Memory - 320GB 7200-rpm Hard Drive - NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512MB Graphics card - 2x Dual 20" flat panel moniters - Apple wireless mouse - Apple wireless keyboard - Final Cut Studio This all adds up to a grand total of: $ 7,784.98 AU QUESTION: Is there anyway I can make this cheaper or is there any specifications listed that I won't need, can it run FCS? And is the "Mac Pro" right for me? Definition FCS - Final Cut Studio

A: Ok here goes: -get the refurb version of the Mac Pro: $2749 (save $1250) http://store.apple.com/au/product/FA356X/A -buy the RAM from a 3rd party supplier: $499 (save $300) -pick up a pair of Viewsonic screens instead (the Apple ones are amazing but $899 is too much): $499 each (save $800) saving you $2350 for a price of: $5434 It will kick the S**T out of FCS, it's a powerhouse, and yeah if you're getting into serious FCS editing then the Pro is enough computer to keep you in the game for the next five years at least, that's why I bought one...
