Q: Ok i really like Vista but i also have an older computer. So heres my computers specs AMD athalon 2.13GHZ with 512 MB of Ram(upgrading to 1GB) i have an outdated video card so im going to replace that anyway. If i upgrade it to vista home basic how well will it run? Like normal XP would with 256MB of Ram or would it run slower? My main question is how well will it run on my computer because i don't want it to run to slow. If it will run like XP does on 512MB of RAM thats great.
A: no dont do it ive heard a lot of stories about vista being ok and not way better than xp. i have xp and its way better than vista in my opinion. i have xp but it just looks like vista and you should definately stick with xp but if you already bought vista have at it and try it out for yourself but you will need to get a better video card.
