Q: I have a 480w PSU for my Desktop Computer. And I fear it may not be strong enough for the things I do. I play a lot of games, and have a lot of things hooked into my computer that requires a lot of power. Recently I have been experiencing sudden Shutdowns without Error. After testing various other Hardware, I believe it may be that the PSU is not powerful enough. Is there a program out there that monitors how much power my computer is using, or even better... A program that scans my system and tells me how much PSU Wattage I need? I would prefer a program and not a third-party exterior monitor I have to plug into the outlet. I would like to be able to monitor my wattage and see if it hovers close to 480w while in-game (when most shutdowns occur). Please don't offer advice on my shutdown problem because I have already Tested RAM, and Temperature. All I need to know is how to monitor my Computer's Power Usage. Computer Knowledge, I don't know all the information that site is asking for. I guess I could look around for answers. But is there a program like that site that scans my computer for the specifics?
A: i dont think that there is a program to monitor that but i have the better yet thing. all you do is go to this website and enter in all the information down to every detail and it will calculate how much power u need for your computer to run.
