Q: hi, when i first got this imac, there was a default icon on the dock that showed a "@" one a spring. it was called "Apple - Mac OS X". Somehow it got deleted, and does anyone know how to perhaps get a new one thanks
A: I believe it was a link to the Apple website. If so, go there, hit the + symbol in Safari to bookmark it. Now go to wherever you saved the bookmark, and drag it into the dock.
