Will this memory card work?

Q: I have a dell dimension 4600 with only 512mb of memory. I love to play sims,and want the new ep, but have just plain stopped playing because the computer runs so damn slow, and i get annoyed. I played the same games on my moms laptop (which has 1GB), and it's SO much faster. I want to get at least 1GB but don't have a whole lot to spend. I need to know if this card i found at walmart will work and if i can install it myself. A: Yes that will work look in the page I linked in the sources it tells you what memory your system supports and additional information. You should install the memory in pairs though at least 2x1GB(s). Plus your system supports dual channel so if you pair up the memory it will be a bit faster. If you search on youtube.com there's some videos showing you how to install the ram so you can take a look at that if you're unsure. But just get someone to do it for you a friend or something and you should be good to play the Sims with that its not a particularly demanding game. Good Luck
