Q: I have a Dell E310 PC device tag is 58CZGB1 currently awaiting to install a 8500 gt pci-e card but im not sure which mobo will be a good fit for my case. I will be upgrading my video card to a better one in the near future Pentium 4 524 CPU 3.06GHz (HT) 775LGA (clock speed 3.1GHz) 2x 512MB DDR2-SDRAM PC2-4300 (266 MHz) - [DDR2-533] Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GSA-H21N SAMSUNG HD160JJ/P 160.0Gb SATAII

A: From what I can see is that your Dell has a BTX board-that means the hock ups are on the right -looking from the back to front of your computer. Those are Dell special and they are hard to find. If I was you I would invest $30 for a new case-like in the link-so you can use a regular ATX board. Those $30 are worth it so you can use what 90% of the hardware is setup for-NOT just for Dell.It will be cheaper in the long run to do that because Dell has its prices for parts. Think about that.
