Q: can i hook my hard drive to my computer as if it was an external hard drive?
A: You cna get HDD enclusures, so these can plug in through USB, but on desktop harddrive will need external power supply. most hardrives jsut plug in via SATA/IDE(sata for newer hdds of 2 years or less) if you plug it in internally. and wil lcome up as a normal hardrive.
