Q: My computer does not recognzie my webcam when I plug it into my computer. I lost the cd software to the old webcam, so I bought a new one thinking that it would work. I installed the software that it came with, but the webcam doesn't show up. The first webcam is really a camcorder, but it doubles as a webcam. It's an Aiptek is-dv2. The second webcam is a really cheap Nikai. help?
A: My webcam was -very- tempermental about exactly when it's plugged into the USB port during the installation process. Was not able to plug in before the installation software requested I plug it in. Suggest you make sure you follow the instructions precisely on this issue (if you can find the instructions). Sorry I can't be of more help.
