A: OK As harsh as this may sound You need to go into add/remove programs and check for any old unused programs. I was in a similar situation recently and did not want to have to remove any programs but eventually i did cause theres not alot of options for this, however if you want to go to a site called http://www.softpedia.com search for a program called Your uninstaller 2008 download the trial, and it will scan the registry and properly remove any old files; not removed y the win uninstaller its a great program and i recently bought the full version for this same purpose... On the same topic try go into C:\Windows\Temp\ and remove any files with the .tmp extention NOTE:! Dont remove any FOLDERS in the C:\Windows\Temp\ just the files, you may open any folders and clear thier contents just dont remove the folders themselves As a precaution only delete the .tmp files to the recycle bin for a couple of days for restore purposes, if ya PC runs fine after a couple of days of deleting them you may empty the recycle bin.
