Q: ok i just bought a computer from america and it's got a 750watt power supply but i would like to know what i would need to change the voltage from 140v (U.S) to 240v (U.K) and it has to be able to hold 750+ watts.?
A: MOST power supplies have a 120/240 switch built into them. So, take a look around your power supply for a switch. It will have 110, perhaps 120 imprinted on it. Usually, you press in on the switch and slide it to the 220/240 position
