Q: Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1250 only has stereo audio in and i want to put composite audio in. I am going to transfer my hi8 tapes from my camcorder onto the computer but i need composite audio. Here is the Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1250 : http://hauppauge.com/site/products/data_hvr1250.html

Frank- That's the right idea, but he'll need one that you can attach a quarter inch jack too. Otherwise it will not fit into the audio input of the Hauppauge.
