A: Hello, after looking up your model on http://parts.emachines.com it is found your motherboard is the FIC K8MC51G http://www.fic.com.tw/product/motherboard/AMD/K8MC51G.aspx This board uses the nForce410 Chipset (MCP51G/C51G) and DOES NOT support the high density memory modules so do not get that ebay deal, your instinct is correct you will be stuck. For example this AM2 board (using the same chipset) specifically mentions that fact: http://www.machspeed.com/specs/viper/M2GT3.htm Several searches for compatible memory all came up w/ low density. cheers
