Q: bought a Diamond 2400 PRO pcie video card. It isn't detected in windows or the bios. But it powers on when the computer is turned on. DIamond customer service sucks. No help. I've used everest to look for it, I'ts nowhere to be found on any software. btw it is not the built-in video card. it is a pcie card i purchased myself. I have set in the BIOS to detect and use the pcie card first, but it doesn't work still. I disabled the drivers for the intel chipset graphics and all i got was a stretched screen- on the built in card! It does power on though, the fan comes on. the AMD catalyst installer said no catalyst compatible graphic cards found and exited. I feel SOL I have a Intel DG31PR motherboard. nope... it even turns on when i plug it into the pcie port and turn the pc on... but no output. or detection CybertronPC TPCXPV2Q6600BS is the computer i have. It comes with a 600 watt power supply. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3655625&CatId=3423
