Q: i clicked start, run, typed in dxdiag, and clicked on the display tab, the message appeared "The system is using the generic video driver. Please install video driver provided by the hardware manufacturer." how do i figure out which graphic card i have? and how do i install the video driver
A: if you take off the cover from your computer you will find a graphics inserted into one of the slots, usually the manufactures name and the card type are printed somewhere on the card, once you have the model number go to the manufactures website and search for a proper driver once you download it, just simply install it
