Q: I will be receiving my new WD My Passport 320 Gb external hard drive very soon. I am running an HP laptop with 2 Gb of ram that's about a year old with Windows Vista on it. I have a few questions. If I use the automatic back-up that comes with Windows Vista, can I also use my hard drive to copy and paste files like a flash drive? Can I also back up my Itunes library to the same flash drive? Also, if you back-up data, does it back-up a ghost-like copy of it, or does it actually make a whole new file, like "copy and paste" but just a more automatic version? Any insight would help. Thanks!
A: Yes you can u copy and paste files to it in the same was as a flash drive. You can fully back up your Itunes livrary just make sure you copy all the needed files. When you back up something it makes a complete copy of the files or items. I hoped this helped you.
