Q: I found a microphone that went to a tape recorder. I plugged it into my computer. I doesn't do anything. Is there a way to make it work?
A: Go to your control panel and open sounds and audio folder. On the first page (volume) open the advanced window. Make sure that the line-in feature is not muted and that the volume is at mid-level. Also make sure the mike is good.
