Q: I have a cool looking USB drive I got for free. I like it, but it only has 64MB. I have a 2GB USB, but I like the 64MB USB's cover better. Could I take the USB out of the 2GB one and put it in the 64MB cover? How do you do this?
A: Yes you can my brother has done it before.(he is a little OCD on that kind of stuff). What you need to do is find a crease in the plastic in the USB cover and pop it off with a butter knife. If it has no crease get some wire cutters and once you get it started it you should be able to then pop it off.( there is typically two shells. you need to be careful though. it will most likely break the cover if you do it wrong) Then you just transfer the hardware in to the cover you want. And superglue the one you cut open with wire cutters down. The process will take 2 1/2 hrs. of u don't know what you are doing. Tip: buy one that is easy to pop open
