Q: I'm looking to upgrade my old PC instead of tossing it away. The only upgrade its gotten since purchased is the max capacity of memory of 1GB and an external hard drive. I'm looking to possibly upgrade the processor, graphics card, and hard drive, but I'm not sure which ones are compatible with my pc. A: There's not a lot of upgrading possible on that model. The best processor it accepts is a Pentium 4, which you probably already have. It won't take recent dual-core processors. The motherboard doesn't have a PCI-Express or AGP slot, it's only got regular PCI slots, so your video card upgrade options aren't great- the Radeon HD2400 and Geforce 8500GT are the bext choices available for that interface.
