Q: I want to upgrade my RAM card. But I do not know which kind of RAM do I have? can you suggest any website where I can find information about RAM. My RAM is 184 pin and 256MB. Can you tell which RAM is this DDR1 \ DDR2 or anything else?
A: 184pin is DDR... and for the previous answerer, it's not a laptop... laptops are 200pin for ddr and ddr2... how many ram slots are on your motherboard? 2gb of ram should be more than enough for your computer, i definitely advise refraining from going to an office supply store or electronics store to buy ram... they charge 2-3x what ram costs and you dont even get the good stuff... newegg.com has OCZ 1gig sticks of ddr 400 (pc-3200) for $32
