Q: evrytime i connect it it says 'DEVICE FOUND' N IT SAYS TO INSTALL IT AND I DO AND THEN IT SAYS ERORR INSTALLING THIS DEVICE OR SOMETHING WHAT DO iDO?? im using windows xp.. and yes it is for the xp
A: Install camera drivers and see if that helps. Windows XP usually recognizes all modern digital cameras without needing drivers but sometimes it does not. You should find camera drivers on the CD that came with it. If you do not have the CD, download the drivers from the camera manufacturer's website. You need the exact camera model number to locate the correct drivers. Also, on some cameras, there is an option of changing the camera behavior to a USB Disk Drive (specially in HP). If this option is present in your camera, change it to USB Disk Drive. Hopefully when you plug it in windows will see it as a USB disk and will allow you to copy files just as you would do from a regular USB disk. Edit ------ This sometimes work: if you have too many USB devices already plugged in, remove as many of them as possible, reboot your computer and then plug in the camera.
