Q: I recenty had a virus which i have removed and have installed virus protection. i am still getting pop ups telling me i am unprotected from viruses, this is because my linksys had been removed and it couldn't connect to the internet to upgrade. when i tried to install it again it didn't recognise the wireless adaptor. is it to do with the virus? what should i do?
A: I've never had luck with any computer after a virus without reformatting. It's just something I do when it happens to me, I like to start off with a clean slate, and those problems are extremely annoying. So, it isn't the easiest and fastest solution, but in the long run, it's what I recommend.
