Q: I don't understand my dell mouse! It's almost a year old and it's been giving me this problem since like the 2nd month i had it! It works fine most of the time, then all of a sudden it will either go to the top or the bottom of the screen! I can move it but can't bring it back down. Does anyone know the reason for this? Thanks no cleaning it dosent work too
A: If its laser it probably the mouse mat i have a laser mouse and if you use it on the table or on one of those shiney mouse mats with pictures etc the laser reflects of it funny and the curser ends up going in the wrong direction or moving by its self. You need one of those mouse mats that does have the plastic surface but more of a matterial hard sponge sort of surface. If its a ball mouse you need to unscrew the bottom of let the ball fall out and you'll see three rollers which will have deposits on them of dirt. you will just need to get a knife and scrape it all of then attach it back together and it will be fine.
