Q: Please list them in order from best to worst. Thanks. Please no biased opinions. i want straight facts.
A: The 9800GTX and HD 4850 would be at the top, and trade blows with each other (although the 4850 does better when anti-aliasing is applied). Next would be the 8800GTS 512, and then the 8800GT. I would stick to getting either the 9800GTX or HD 4850, as for the money they offer awesome performance. But personally, I think the HD 4850 is the best choice, mainly because it can usually be found cheaper than the GTX, supports DirectX 10.1, only needs one PCIe 6 pin power connector (the GTX needs 2), 7.1 audio over HDMI (for all the blue-ray movie people), and probably has a lot more performance in store for it as the drivers mature (the rv770 is a brand new chip, and still has a lot of performance to be squeezed out of it. The drivers for the G92 chip on the GTX is fairly mature at this point). http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102747 $155 dollars with rebate. It's an incredible deal for the price. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161235 Same after-rebate price, except this one comes with RaceDriver GRID :)
