Q: I have a 2 year old Computer with a Asus A8NE-FM Motherboard. Yesterday i bought anew Graphics card. A Sapphire Toxic HD4850. The ATI Graphics card uses DDR3 Memory, but i just realized do I need to then get a new motherboard which can support this or should I be ok. I have checked though my graphics card that i have a the moment a ATI X700 SE also uses PCI-E so shouldn't it work as well? Thanks for you answers in advance.
A: its GDDR3, not the same as DDR2/3 on normal RAM. as long as the port is PCI-E (prefrably 16x) then it shoudl work. just plug it in and let it rip.
