A: I have a Philips dvd player with a USB port. Most of the time I copy my downloaded AVI's to a USB flash drive and stick it in the dvd player. Works great. Player will work with a HD if the HD has it's own power brick and the HD needs to be formatted with FAT32 (won't work if your HD is formatted NTFS).
