Wireless mouse user, Back to Wired?

Q: Hey.. I have been using a wireless mouse for years, Im a serious gamer, but even though I see many people claim wireless mouse gives lag in games, Neither of the two mouses ive had, Had any noticable lag, and trust me, I didnt end up with low scores at all. Current mouse is the logitech MX700. Anyways, Im buying a new pc, and need a new mouse. My problem with wireless mouse is the fact that they use theyre own battery's now. My MX700 uses 2xAA re-chargeable battery's, which I can easly replace by two other batterys incase i forgot to charge it in time. The newer mouses, you can no longer do this with. Now the Logitech G7 comes with 2 batterys, but you can only charge the other when your pc is on. Im considering taking a wired mouse again, but wonder if anyone was in the similar position as me. Did you get annoyed by the wire? Did it get long to get used to a wired mouse again? I dont wanna get frusterated with it, and amputate its tail hehe. Well I need a new one because this one is like so old. The paint on the thumb buttons is completly gone, And the right button is also getting paintless. Soon it will start getting holes lol. Razer being great mouses I believe, But have you read Razer vs logitech G5 for example? Im pretty sure that most people who yell Razer is best, havent tested it against another GOOD mouse. Honsetly, I could imagine gaming (FPS) with a trackingball mouse :s

A: stay with wireless.... the cable always gets in the way at the moment you need it most. I`m using the MX700 as well. Why do you need a new one? why not continue with the current? And yeah it does suck that they don't do it the same as they used to... I`m fearing the day my mouse gives up the ghost
