Q: I have Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 8000 connected to my computer via bluetooth. The mouse is brand new, never been physically damaged. Problem that it is jerky and sometimes lags. I tried different mouse pads and none helped. Sometimes it works perfectly till problem happens, then change mouse pad and it works again. Then problem happens and change mouse pad to the old one then it is fixed. I have two mouse pads desk, I keep changing to fix the problem except now it is consistent. I have wifi modem, I thought the problem is interfering with the mouse signal, but I turned it off and the problem is still consistent. Please help.
A: bluetooth although it runs on the same frequency as a wireless modem (2.4ghz) has a much smaller packet size and there for will not interfere with each other. Could your mobile phone be on close by also things such as wireless tv senders run on 2.4ghz and will cause interference for bluetooth
