A: The motherboard supports the 775 Socket for the Core 2 Duo and the Pentium D Dual Core, but the FSB support for the motherboard is only up to 800mhz and the Core 2 Duos use a FSB of 1066 or 1333mhz. Newegg will have the motherboards that support the higher bus speeds, try looking into ASUS.
