I want to install an additional 2GB of RAM on my motherboard, and need help please.

Q: I have 2 sticks of 1gb 800mhz rams already installed, this is the amazon.com link to them:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FU4ZM4 My motherboard is an eVGA 680i and i just want to be sure that this should work. oh and my PSU is 850W, I have a Q6600 cpu and 2x8800 gtx's in sli, all this in 64 bit vista. please advise. my motherboard can have 8 gb of ram and has 4 ram slots in total. i just want to make sure

A: Your motherboard model shows you have 4 slots available for RAM "4 x 240-pin DIMM sockets" You can either open up your case and see how many slots are already taken, or search your PC model number on the manufacturer's site. If you have 2 slots taken (already 2GB) then its no problem madding these two more models. Just plug and play.
