Q: I have a Quad processor pc with a ge-force 8500gt video card....i have an offer for ge-force 8800gt and the ati Diamond Radeon X1950 Pro Video Card - 512MB GDDR3...so what is the best of those video cards?...thanks
A: You should buy the geforce video card....because the geforce has a better performance that the ati radeon that you asking for...i agree with the other guys about ATI,however you are asking for specific models,means that your question is about those two cards not anything else????....besides.....geforce has this numbers against ati.. look this fps.. geforce ati radeon 11200 7026 future mark06 65.93 34.23 quake 4 88.87 55.53 prey that was a test in a dual core PC........ numbers speak by themselves...however, the size of the geforce is 1.5 inch longer than the ati...and also is a Little beat more consumer of power..but is not a tragedy..any way with your quad processor is not a big problem except for the ram..if you have vista pay attention to have more than 2GB of ram...also pay attention to the size of the case..not because the heat but because the size inside the case.... best regards/... p.s Go with the Ge force.....you are not going to loose.......
