Q: What size should I get? (I have thousands of pictures) Is one brand better then another? Any other information I should know would be greatly apprieciated
A: check out http://www.salescircular.com and click your state and see whats on sale. here in Wisconsin a 500GB is 100 bucks 750GB is 150 bucks 1000GB (1TB) is 190 bucks. It depends on how big your pictures are but heres an example of mine. I have 17,071 pictures in one folder and the folder takes up 19.3 GB. quick math gives me about 885 pictures per GB. A 500GB formats to about 465GB. 465GB x 885pics = 411525 pictures the hard drive can store. Brand doesn't matter to me much its more about price. Hopes this helps .
