Q: Hey guys I have a question to ask. I just recently updated my ram from a 1 gb to 4 gb. When I refresh to see my new score it only had move up once under the Memory (ram) categorie. Why is that? When I updated my graphics card to a 9000 series it gave me a perfect score 5.9 but why not the same with the ram?
A: Vista doesn't rate RAM by quantity but by performance, by how fast it is. If you upgrade it to a faster kind of RAM (if your motherboard supports it) it should improve the rating. I wouldn't upgrade it just because Vista doesn't rate it high enough though. If you think your computer performs well there's no need to upgrade.
