Q: i have windows vista so i put the card in and nothing poped up then i went to computer and clicked on smartmedia/xd (h:) then it siad to insert disk so i did then it said somthing about if i format it it would erase everything so i clicked on cancel and i took it out and then i put it back in and then it would work and i put back in the camera and now it says that there is acard error and it will not work wat happened i need help did i mess up the card or wat please help?
A: yeah your card is corrupt.. you're gonna have to format that card through your camera or through your computer. last resort is to try the card on another compatible camera or computer and see if you can retrieve your pics from there. If not then go ahead and format the card. You will lose everything you had on that card though.
